Troubleshooting
How many vehicles are in the Virtual Garage?
IgnitionX features 60+ premium vehicles from brands including BMW, Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Toyota, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Chevrolet, Nissan, Honda, Dodge, McLaren, Aston Martin, and more. We add new vehicles regularly with app updates.
Can I save multiple builds for the same car?
Yes — you can save unlimited custom configurations for any vehicle. Name each build (e.g. "Track Day Setup", "Daily Driver"), switch between them instantly, and compare your different configurations side by side in the Car Comparison tool.
How do I view full car specs?
Tap any vehicle in the garage to open its detail page. You'll find full specs including horsepower, torque, 0–60 time, top speed, weight, dimensions, engine type, and drivetrain. Premium subscribers also get access to model history timelines and full generational comparisons.
How do I compare two cars?
Tap the Compare button from any car's detail page, then select a second vehicle. The head-to-head comparison shows side-by-side specs including HP, torque, 0–60, top speed, weight, and dimensions. You can also compare your custom builds to see how mods affect the spec gap.
What types of modifications are available?
IgnitionX supports 25+ modification types including: paint colors & custom wraps, alloy & forged wheels (multiple sizes), lowering kits & suspension upgrades, turbocharger & supercharger upgrades, exhaust systems, body kits & aero packages, window tints, interior upgrades, brake kits, and performance tuning stages. More mod types are added with each update.
Can all mods be applied to any car?
No — IgnitionX enforces realistic compatibility rules. Not every mod fits every car (just like in real life). The AI Build Advisor will warn you if a combination is incompatible and suggest alternatives. This makes builds more authentic and useful for real-world planning.
Do mods affect performance stats?
Yes — performance mods (turbo upgrades, exhaust, suspension, tuning stages) update your build's estimated HP, torque, and 0–60 time in real-time. Cosmetic mods (paint, wheels, wraps) affect the AI Style Score. You can see both scores side-by-side as you build.
Can I export or share my build specs?
Yes — from any saved build, tap Share to export a spec sheet image with your car's name, all applied mods, performance stats, and your IgnitionX profile. You can share directly to Instagram, Twitter, or save to your camera roll.
How does the AI Build Advisor work?
The AI Build Advisor analyzes your current build configuration and suggests the best next modifications based on your goals (performance, style, budget, or all three). It checks compatibility, estimates the performance impact of each upgrade, and flags combinations that could conflict. It's like having a real car tuner in your pocket.
What does the Photo Style Analysis do?
Upload a photo of any car (yours or one you found online) and the AI will analyze its color scheme, body style, wheel type, and overall aesthetic. It then recommends matching mods, paint schemes, and wheel combinations in IgnitionX that fit that style. Your photo is deleted from our servers immediately after the analysis is returned.
Can I chat with the AI Build Assistant?
Yes — tap the AI Chat button to ask free-form questions like "What's the best exhaust for a BMW M4?" or "Is a stage 2 tune compatible with my current turbo?" The assistant gives context-aware answers based on your current build. Chat is available to all users with a daily message limit; premium subscribers get unlimited chat.
Is my photo stored after AI analysis?
No. Photos you upload for AI analysis are sent to our servers, analyzed, and then immediately deleted. The analysis result is returned to your device. We do not store, view, or retain your uploaded photos. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I use the AR Viewer?
Open any saved build and tap the AR button. Point your iPhone camera at a flat surface (driveway, floor, parking lot) — IgnitionX will detect the surface and place your custom car on it. Walk around the car to view it from any angle. Pinch to scale, tap to reposition. The AR Viewer requires iOS 16+ and camera permission.
The AR Viewer isn't tracking properly. What do I do?
AR tracking works best in well-lit environments on flat, textured surfaces. Avoid very dark rooms, reflective floors (glass, polished concrete), or completely plain/white surfaces. Move your phone slowly when first scanning the surface to help ARKit establish tracking. If it still doesn't work, try closing and reopening the AR session.
Is my camera footage recorded or stored?
No — the camera feed used by the AR Viewer is processed entirely on your device in real-time. It is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. IgnitionX uses ARKit (Apple's framework) for surface detection, and no camera data ever leaves your device during AR sessions.
Can I take screenshots of my AR build?
Yes — tap the camera icon in the AR Viewer to take a screenshot of your build in its real-world environment. Screenshots are saved directly to your iPhone's Camera Roll. You can then share them to social media or the IgnitionX community.
How do I share a build with the community?
Open a saved build, tap the Share icon, and select "Post to Community." Add a caption and optional tags (e.g. #BMW #TrackBuild), then tap Post. Your build will appear in the community feed for other IgnitionX users to like, comment on, and save to their own garage.
Can I make my builds private?
Yes — all builds are private by default. Only builds you explicitly post to the community become public. You can also change a previously public post back to private by tapping the build, going to settings, and selecting "Make Private." This removes it from community feeds immediately.
How do I report inappropriate community content?
Tap the three-dot menu on any post or comment and select "Report." Choose a reason (spam, inappropriate content, harassment, etc.) and submit. Our moderation team reviews reports and takes action within 24–48 hours. Repeated violations result in account suspension.
Do I need an account to use IgnitionX?
You can browse vehicles, explore specs, and use the customizer without an account. However, saving builds, using the community, syncing across devices, and accessing AI features requires a free account. Sign up takes less than 30 seconds — just a display name and email.
How do I restore my premium purchase?
Go to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases in the app. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. Restoration is handled by Apple's StoreKit and is usually instant. If it doesn't work, sign out of your Apple ID and back in, then try again.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app. This permanently deletes your profile, all saved builds, community posts, and account data from our servers within 30 days. This action is irreversible. Alternatively, email aleem.rz@gmail.com to request manual deletion.
How do I cancel my premium subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → IgnitionX → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep premium access until the end of your current billing period. We don't handle subscription billing directly — it all goes through Apple.
The app is crashing or won't load. What do I do?
Try these steps in order: (1) Force-close and reopen the app. (2) Restart your iPhone. (3) Check for an app update in the App Store. (4) Delete and reinstall the app — your builds are saved to your account and will sync back after you log in. If the issue persists, email us at aleem.rz@gmail.com with your device model and iOS version.
My saved builds disappeared after reinstalling. Help!
Builds are stored in your account on our servers, so they should reappear after you log back in. Make sure you're signing in with the same account credentials (email or Apple Sign In). If builds still don't appear after logging in and pulling to refresh, contact us at aleem.rz@gmail.com and we'll investigate.
The AR Viewer says my device isn't supported.
The AR Viewer requires a device with Apple's A12 Bionic chip or newer (iPhone XS / XR and later) running iOS 16+. Older devices don't have the LiDAR or ARKit capabilities required. All other app features work on any supported iOS 16+ device, including older iPhones that don't support AR.
Community posts won't load. What's wrong?
Community features require an active internet connection. Check your Wi-Fi or cellular connection. If you have internet but feeds still won't load, force-close the app and reopen it. If the problem continues for more than a few minutes, it may be a temporary server issue — check back shortly or email us if it persists more than an hour.
