Privacy Policy

1. Overview

IgnitionX ("the App") is developed and published by Veloptix. This Privacy Policy applies to the IgnitionX iOS application and explains how we handle information when you use the App. By using IgnitionX, you agree to the practices described here.

• Provide and improve the IgnitionX experience
• Sync your garage and builds across devices
• Power the community features (sharing, likes, comments, follows)
• Process uploaded photos for AI style analysis (photos are not retained after analysis)
• Send notifications about community interactions (if you enable them)
• Restore in-app purchases through Apple's StoreKit
• Fix bugs and improve app performance via anonymous crash reports

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or sale to third parties.

4. Camera & AR Usage

IgnitionX requests access to your device camera for two purposes:

• AR Viewer: The live camera feed is used in real-time to render your car builds in augmented reality. The camera feed is never recorded, stored, or transmitted — it exists only locally on your device during the AR session.
• Photo Upload for AI Analysis: When you upload a photo of a car, it is sent to our servers for AI style analysis and immediately deleted after the analysis is returned. We do not retain uploaded photos.

You can revoke camera access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera → IgnitionX.

5. Community & Public Content

IgnitionX includes a social community where you can share builds, post comments, and follow other users. Please be aware:

• Any build, comment, or post you mark as public is visible to all IgnitionX users.
• Your display name and profile photo (if set) are visible alongside your public content.
• You can set builds to private at any time from the build settings — private builds are only visible to you.
• You can delete your public posts and comments at any time from within the app.

6. AI Features & Third-Party AI Data Sharing

IgnitionX offers optional AI features powered by a third-party AI service provider. AI features only send data externally after you give explicit consent in the app — the first time you use an AI feature, a consent screen explains exactly what is shared, and you may decline and use the built-in local knowledge base instead (no data leaves your device).

What data is sent, and to whom:

• Who receives it: OpenAI, LLC (openai.com/privacy) — and, as a fallback, Google LLC's Gemini API (policies.google.com/privacy).
• AI Chat & Build Advisor: The text of your chat messages and build-related questions is transmitted to OpenAI to generate responses. Conversations are not stored on IgnitionX servers.
• AI Photo Analysis: Car photos you choose to upload are transmitted to OpenAI for style and color analysis. Photos are processed on-demand and are not retained by IgnitionX after the analysis result is returned.
• How it is collected: Only content you actively type or photos you actively select are sent — there is no background or automatic collection.
• Purpose: Solely to generate the AI recommendation or analysis you requested. Your data is not used by IgnitionX for advertising or profiling, and we instruct providers to process it only for your request, subject to their privacy policies linked above.
• Your control: You can withdraw consent at any time in App Settings → AI Features. With consent off, all AI features run on a local on-device knowledge base and nothing is sent to any external AI service.

7. Push Notifications

IgnitionX may request permission to send push notifications for community activity (likes, comments, new followers). If you grant permission, your device push token is stored on our servers solely to deliver these notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → IgnitionX.

8. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in these cases:

• Service providers: Hosting, analytics, and infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Third-party AI providers (with your consent only): OpenAI, LLC and Google LLC (Gemini), as described in Section 6 — only the chat messages and photos you actively submit to AI features, and only after you grant consent in the app.
• Apple: For in-app purchase verification and optional crash diagnostics.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Community content: Public builds and posts are visible to other users as described above.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and secure server storage. Your account is protected by your authentication credentials. We recommend using a strong, unique password and enabling iOS device security (Face ID / Touch ID).

10. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account and build data for as long as your account is active. To delete your data:

• Delete your account: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app. This permanently removes your profile, builds, and all associated data from our servers within 30 days.
• Delete individual content: You can delete specific builds, comments, or posts at any time directly within the app.

11. Children's Privacy

IgnitionX is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact aleem.rz@gmail.com.

12. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Update your profile information in the app at any time.
• Deletion: Delete your account and all data as described above.
• Opt-out of sale: We do not sell personal data.
• Portability: Request an export of your build data by emailing us.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date above and notify users of significant changes via the App Store update notes or an in-app notice.
