How do I create a FluxRun account?

Download FluxRun from the App Store and open the app. Tap Get Started, then sign up with your Apple ID, Google account, or email address. Follow the onboarding steps to set up your profile, running goals, and preferences.

How do I delete my account and data?

To permanently delete your account: go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently erase your profile, runs, and all associated data from our servers within 30 days. This action cannot be undone. Alternatively, email aleem.rz@gmail.com to request account deletion.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the login screen, tap Forgot Password and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. If you signed up with Apple ID or Google, use the respective sign-in button — no password is needed. Check your spam folder if you don't see the reset email.

Why is my GPS not tracking accurately?

Poor GPS accuracy is usually caused by:

  • Location permissions set to "While Using" instead of "Always" — go to Settings → Privacy → Location Services → FluxRun → Always
  • Being in a dense urban area with tall buildings (signal multipath)
  • Starting your run indoors — wait for GPS lock before starting
  • Low battery mode reducing GPS polling frequency

Allow 30–60 seconds at the start of a run for the GPS to lock on before moving.

Can I import GPX routes into FluxRun?

Yes! FluxRun supports GPX file import for planned routes. Go to Record → Import Route and select a .gpx file from your Files app. The route will be overlaid on the map during your run. GPX files can be exported from apps like Strava, Garmin Connect, or created on websites like plotaroute.com.

How do I use segments and track personal records?

Segments are predefined course sections where FluxRun automatically detects when you run them and records your time. Your best effort on each segment is saved as your PR. Segments appear automatically on the map when you're near one. You can also create custom segments from your run history by selecting a portion of a recorded route.

How do I sync FluxRun with Apple Health?

FluxRun syncs automatically with Apple Health when permissions are granted. To enable: go to the Health app → SharingAppsFluxRun → turn on all relevant permissions (Workouts, Heart Rate, Active Energy, Distance). You can also manage this from FluxRun: Profile → Settings → Health & Fitness → Apple Health.

How do I connect a Bluetooth heart rate monitor?

FluxRun supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) heart rate monitors (Polar, Garmin, Wahoo, etc.). To pair: go to Profile → Settings → Connected Devices → Add Device. Make sure your monitor is in pairing mode and Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone. The device will appear in the scan list. Tap it to pair and it will auto-connect during future runs.

Does FluxRun work with Apple Watch?

Yes! The FluxRun Apple Watch app provides real-time metrics on your wrist during runs — pace, distance, heart rate, elapsed time, and more. Install the watch app from the Watch app on your iPhone. Your runs sync automatically between your Watch and iPhone when they're in range.

How do I export my run data?

Export your data as GPX or CSV from Profile → Settings → Data Export. You can export individual runs or your entire run history. GPX files can be imported into Strava, Garmin Connect, Komoot, and most other fitness platforms. CSV exports include all metrics in spreadsheet-friendly format.

What data does FluxRun collect and store?

FluxRun collects GPS location data (only while running), workout metrics (pace, distance, heart rate), and basic account information (name, email). We do not sell your data to third parties. For full details, please read our Privacy Policy.
